We’ve been building these in the shop, and the PFC9 is the real deal. Polymer80 took their proven, ergonomic PF940v2 frame—the one with the aggressive texture that locks into your hand—and married it to a purpose-built, optics-ready slide. The result is a no-nonsense compact pistol that’s built for use.
The heart of it is the frame. You know the one. The grip angle is right, the undercut is deep, and the texture is exactly where you need it: sides, front strap, and back strap. It’s secure when your hands are dry or wet. This isn’t a slick, generic frame; it’s designed to be held and controlled.
On top, you get a clean, modern slide machined from 416 stainless steel. It’s cut from the factory for a wide range of micro red dots (plate required). The front and rear serrations are deep and crisp, giving you positive purchase for any manipulation. The heavy chamfer up front isn’t just for looks—it guides the pistol smoothly into a holster and reduces snagging.
This is a complete package. It comes with a 3.9-inch barrel, internals, and sights installed. All you do is pair it with your preferred optic (if you want one) and a Glock-compatible magazine.
