Forged Fire/Safe Marked 80% Lower Assembly Kit

SKU: P80-FS-ASSY-BLK | Price: $131.99

Build It Right. Build It Once.

You’re not just buying parts; you’re starting a project. This isn’t a box of random components. It’s a complete, matched assembly built around a forged 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver. We put this kit together so you get everything you need in one shot, from the Fire/Safe marked lower to the buttstock. No guesswork, no chasing down six different orders. This is the foundation for a rifle that lasts.

This is a 100% American-made 80% lower. No FFL is required for purchase or shipment. Final machining and finishing is your responsibility. Know your state and local laws.

The Heart of the Kit: The Forged Lower

We don’t mess with inferior materials. The core of this assembly is a forged 7075-T6 aluminum lower. This is the same spec used by major manufacturers and the military. Forging creates a denser, stronger grain structure than billet or polymer. It can take a beating, run hard, and hold tight tolerances for the life of the rifle. This is about durability you can trust.

  • Material: Forged 7075-T6 Aluminum (Mil-Spec)
  • Finish: Type III Hardcoat Anodized, Mil-Spec Black
  • Markings: Cleanly Engraved “FIRE” and “SAFE” Selector Markings
  • Magwell: Professionally Broached for Smooth Magazine Insertion and Release
  • Origin: 100% Made in the USA

What You Get in the Box

This is a true assembly kit. We include the critical components that interface directly with the lower, so you know they fit and function together.

1. Forged Fire/Safe 80% Lower Receiver

Your starting point. The lower is fully anodized and engraved. The fire control group pocket, trigger pin holes, and safety selector hole are not drilled. The rear takedown pin area is not milled. You will need a jig, a router or drill press, and appropriate tooling to complete this receiver to BATFE specifications.

2. Complete Lower Parts Kit (LPK)

All the small parts to bring your lower to life. Includes trigger, hammer, disconnector, springs, detents, selector, bolt catch, magazine catch, and pivot/takedown pins. These are quality, functional parts designed for reliable operation.

3. Buffer Tube Assembly (Receiver Extension)

A commercial-spec buffer tube, castle nut, and end plate. This is installed and ready to accept the stock. The buffer retainer and spring are included in the LPK.

4. Butt Stock

A standard 6-position adjustable carbine stock. It slides onto the buffer tube and locks securely into place. Provides a solid cheek weld and length-of-pull adjustment.

Note: This kit does NOT include a buffer spring, buffer weight, pistol grip, or magazine. These are items you can select based on your specific build preferences.

Why This Kit Makes Sense

Let’s be practical. Sourcing each part individually costs more in shipping and time. With this assembly, you get a forged lower matched with a solid LPK and stock system for a single, clear price. You save money, and you know the major lower components are compatible.

This is the ideal starting point for:

  • First-time builders who want a solid, no-surprises foundation.
  • Experienced builders looking for a cost-effective, reliable spare or new project lower.
  • Anyone who values the proven strength of forged aluminum and wants clear, correct selector markings.

The “Fire/Safe” engraving is done right—clean and legible. It looks professional and ensures there’s no confusion about your selector’s position.

Straight Talk: What You Need to Know

This is an 80% lower receiver. By itself, it is not a firearm. It requires machining operations (drilling and milling) to become a functional receiver. You are responsible for completing it in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. It is illegal to manufacture a firearm you are prohibited from possessing.

You will need tools. A quality jig designed for this lower is mandatory. You will need a drill press or a router, drill bits, and end mills. Safety equipment is non-negotiable. If you’re new to this, do your research. There are excellent guides and videos available.
