The Canik Mete MC9L is a compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a polymer frame and a black finish. It has a 3.18-inch barrel and a 6.27-inch overall length, and it weighs 22.22 ounces unloaded. The 17+1 capacity comes with two 17-round magazines, and the optic-ready slide accepts a compatible red dot. White-dot front and blacked-out rear sights give a high-contrast sight picture.

The MC9L fits concealed carry and everyday defensive use, where a slim frame and a high round count both count. The package also holds a holster, a magazine loader, three interchangeable backstraps, cleaning accessories, a tool kit and a storage case, which covers a full first setup. A handgun purchase follows the same federal rules in every state: a dealer, Form 4473 and a background check at 21 or older. Some states add their own permits, waits or capacity limits, so check locally first.
