The Diamondback DB9 Generation 4 is a micro-compact 9mm pistol with a polymer frame and a black finish. It has a 3.1-inch stainless steel barrel, a 5.73-inch overall length and a listed weight of about 15 ounces unloaded. The capacity is 6+1, and the striker-fired action is double-action-only with a 5.5-pound trigger pull.

A slim pistol of this size suits discreet concealed carry, including pocket or purse carry where a shooter wants a light, low-profile handgun. The three-dot Glock-compatible standard sights give a sight picture most shooters already know. The short reset helps with follow-up shots during practice. Buying one follows the same federal steps as any handgun: a dealer, Form 4473 and a background check. Some states add permit or wait rules at pickup.
